Domestic Cleaning
Domestic Assistance duties can include vacuuming, mopping, making beds, dusting, washing linen, ironing, washing dishes, wiping benches, wiping mirrors and windows. Rest assured our team will assist to help maintain your home on a regular basis. Whether you want a weekly or fortnightly service to make sure we stay up to date with keeping your home tidy. Keeping the home tidy can prevent infections and pests so you can keep a piece of mind that your home is safe and comfortable.
Domestic assistance can be provided under the Home Care Package but you can also speak to the team about our competitive rates. Our friendly carers will be guided by the needs on the day of service. Please keep in mind our team cannot use harsh chemicals such as bleach or oven cleaner.
Personal Care
Personal care duties can include assistance to maintain your personal hygiene, shower, bed baths, washing hair, applying lotions and creams when required, assisting to dress and undress, oral hygiene, assisting shaving if an electric razor is available. Our aim is to make the process of personal care a positive experience for the individual client whilst respecting their dignity.
Having a carer close by in the home while you shower can also keep you confident that if anything was to happen during the process, correct emergency services can be contacted straight away.
Meal Preparation
Diet is a big part of maintaining good health. It can become a hard task to cook a nutritious meal when you loose the ability to stand for long periods of time or slice certain foods safely. Our care team can assist with preparation of your meals and store them for easy access later. Proper food preparation and storage should be of the highest quality as an older person can be more susceptible to food borne illnesses.
Assisted and Unassisted Shopping
We can help you prepare a grocery list, do your shopping for you, bring it back and pack it away or take you to the shops so you have support. We understand going to the shops can be a tiring process so we will try to make it easier for you. Our team can also assist with online shopping orders from the comfort of your own home.
Gardening Services
Our team offers garden maintenance services including mowing, trimming, removing debris, leaves, and waste, and pressure washing patios and walkways. We ensure both a clean and safe garden for our clients through our commitment to quality.
Social
Every service we provide is partly a social service. Our team wants to make sure your service is all about you as your care is the most important thing to us. Do you have an old card game you have been wanting to play, board games can be stimulating and we would love to chat whilst having fun. Our team can also assist with writing down your family history while they learn about you so memories can be passed on to generations. Maybe you would like our team to take you out on a drive around the community, or a walk around the block. We chose our carers as their passion is to make our clients smile.
Respite Care
You can access Respite Care for a few hours, a few days or longer. We understand that family members need a break from their own caring role. Our team can be with your loved one whilst you run your errands or need a temporary break. Keep a piece of mind our team can be there when you are not able to be. No matter what service you choose with us, our team will make sure they are building a positive relationship.
Transportation
Transportation is a big part of maintaining your independence. We can drive you to any appointments, assist with running errands, drive you to and from the hospital or take you to that special event. Our team can drive you safely to where you need to be 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. No matter what service you choose with us, our team will make sure they are building a positive relationship.
Overnight Care
Our team can stay overnight to support you in your own home. If you do need to get up in the middle of the night, our team can support you to the bathroom if required. Making sure you are dressed for bed at night, and dressed for the day in the morning. Anything you need to sleep soundly.
24 Hour Care
Our services can be provided 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. If you need around the clock support because your carer is going away or you have come home from the hospital and need to have additional care in place, get in touch with us and we will make sure someone will always be there for you. We can also assist with all your daily activities and stay overnight to make sure you are comfortable, safe and secure.
Nursing
Our in-home nursing care offers a range of services tailored to your health needs. From wound care and medication management to post-hospital support, our qualified nurses are here to ensure you receive the care you need in the comfort of your own home. Whether it’s a one-time visit or ongoing care, we’ll work with you to develop a plan that fits your lifestyle and health requirements. Welfare Checks
Mental health is one of our main focuses. A stop in to check on someone can really change their day. We will check in on your loved ones or yourself to make sure you are safe and sound at home. If you are suffering from COVID-19 or another contagious illness, our team is fully prepared and has full PPE available so we can still complete a Welfare check on you from a distance or through the front door without entering your home. We can also bring items you need such as groceries or a hot coffee whilst you are unwell and can’t leave the home.
