Support at Home

The Australian Government's Support at Home program helps older Australians stay independent, safe and comfortable in their own home — with services matched to assessed needs.

What it is

Support designed around staying home.

Support at Home is designed to help older people continue living in their own home rather than moving into residential care. Following an assessment, a package of services is arranged to match the level of support each person needs — from a little help around the home through to more regular, personal care.

Assessed to your needs
Support levels are based on an independent assessment of what would help you most.
Flexible services
Personal care, domestic help, transport, social support and more, arranged around you.
Familiar carers
We aim to keep the same carers visiting, so support feels personal and consistent.

What Support at Home can include.
